A detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) helps buyers obtain accurate prices for Q345C steel pipes and avoid misunderstandings during production. For international buyers, providing complete technical and commercial information also makes it easier to compare offers from different suppliers.

1. Material Grade and Applicable Standard

Clearly state Q345C as the required material grade and identify the applicable product standard. If your project specifies a particular standard or requires an approved equivalent, include this information in the RFQ. Do not assume that materials with similar grade names are automatically interchangeable.

2. Pipe Dimensions and Manufacturing Method

Specify the outside diameter, wall thickness and required pipe length. For example, a buyer might request Q345C welded steel pipe with an outside diameter of 325 mm, a wall thickness of 8 mm and a length of 6,000 mm. This is only an example; the actual dimensions should follow the project design.

Provide the required number of pipes, total length or estimated tonnage. If you need cutting, beveling, special end preparation or other processing, describe these requirements clearly.

4. Quality Documents and Inspection

Specify whether a Mill Test Certificate (MTC), dimensional inspection report or third-party inspection is required. Any additional testing or acceptance criteria should be agreed upon before production.

5. Delivery and Commercial Terms

Include the destination port or delivery address, required delivery date, preferred Incoterm, packaging requirements and expected shipment schedule. If you have a target purchase quantity or recurring demand, mention it as well.
