Seamless Steel Pipe: Seamless pipes do not have a seam since they are produced from a solid piece of steel. They offer a continuous and smooth appearance along their length.

Strength and Durability:

Welded Steel Pipe: Welded pipes have slightly lower mechanical strength compared to seamless pipes due to the presence of the weld seam. However, they still exhibit sufficient strength for many applications.

Seamless Steel Pipe: Seamless pipes generally possess higher mechanical strength and better overall performance due to their homogeneous structure without welds.

Seamless Steel Pipe: Seamless pipes are typically available in smaller sizes, with limited availability for larger diameters and thicker walls. Large seamless pipes are more challenging to manufacture due to the size limitations of the starting material.

Cost:

Welded Steel Pipe: Welded pipes are generally more cost-effective than seamless pipes. The manufacturing process of welded pipes is simpler and requires less specialized equipment, resulting in lower production costs.

Seamless Steel Pipe: Seamless pipes are more expensive to produce due to the complex manufacturing process and the need for higher-quality starting materials.

Both welded and seamless steel pipes have their advantages and are suitable for different applications.
